bwtech@UMBC is a 71-acre business incubator adjacent to University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) that brings research, entrepreneurship, business leads, prospective clients and economic development in the Maryland region to one singular place—a place full of like-minded businesses on the forefront of innovation. The bwtech@UMBC community is a center of innovation for businesses in all different stages of development that provides a place for:

  • Start-up companies to grow
  • Established companies to expand their business, network and find talent
  • Visiting companies to network with other like-minded businesses

Towson University Incubator

The Towson University (TU) Incubator, TU’s business incubator, serves as an entrepreneurial resource and activity hub inside and outside of Towson University. Founded in 2007, the TU Incubator mission is to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation by supporting startups and entrepreneurs, and contributing to the development of the local economy. TU Incubator member companies have a number of resources, including access to:

  • First-class facilities with valuable seminars and business workshops that are pertinent to the business world
  • An exclusive member network for personalized counseling on issues unique to each company’s status and milestones
