A division of Workforce Development, Maryland Works for Wind (MWW) uses regional partnerships to connect Baltimore County residents with careers within three key industries, through job trainings and apprenticeship programs.

Program Services

Some training and apprenticeship programs have support services to get you through the training and into a career that can lead you to a self-sustaining, high quality of life. Services include:

  • Child-care aid
  • Criminal record expungement
  • Financial aid
  • Tools and work attire
  • Transportation aid

Eligibility

If you’re eager to apply, training and apprenticeship programs only require that you:

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Are able to pass a drug test
  • Are authorized to work in the United States
