  • Outreach Coordinator—Ensures greater coverage, coordination and response to the needs of our immigrant community, and engages with community, business and faith-based organizations, as well as other stakeholders.
  • Language Access Coordinator—Helps build capacity to serve limited English proficient (LEP) residents in the County.

New Americans Group and Task Force

The New Americans Advisory Group provides a platform for organizations to exchange information, share community resources and foster collaboration across public-private partnerships to better serve the County's residents. The Group is comprised of community members, service providers and faith leaders throughout the County who serve immigrants.

The New Americans Task Force was established to develop a plan for immigrant integration and inclusion that addresses the social and economic challenges in the County's immigrant community.

Immigrant Affairs Commission

The Immigrant Affairs Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the County government as a means to advocate for immigrant voices to be heard and understood, while acknowledging issues of importance to all immigrants. The Commission also facilitates the creation of solutions to support civic engagement and equitable access to all County resources.
