Outreach Initiative: Medicare Prescription Drug Program

When selecting a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan, it is important to make an educated decision. Research and compare various drug plans utilizing your medication list to select the best coverage for you based on cost, coverage or access.

  • Visit, create a MyMedicare account, and enter your drugs into the Medicare Plan Finder to conduct your own research and self-enroll in the Part D plan that best meets your needs. Helpful videos on how to use the online Part D Plan Finder Tool are available on the website.
  • Call 1-800-MEDICARE (633-4227) for enrollment assistance by phone.
  • Call SHIP, the State Health Insurance Assistance Program, for one-on-one phone assistance.
