The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) promotes adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity and a suitable living environment free from discrimination for low income residents of Baltimore County. The services offered by the Department help participants strengthen their families, improve their skills, education and economic status, and ultimately reduce their dependence on government programs.
Public COmment on Draft COnsolidated Plan, Action Plan, citizen Participation Plan
Baltimore County has published for public comment its draft Consolidated Plan for County fiscal years 2026 to 2030 and its Action Plan for fiscal year 2026 along with its Citizen Participation Plan. To facilitate public comment on these documents, the County will hold a public hearing (in-person and virtual) on Wednesday, June 25, at 6 p.m. in the Jefferson Building ground-floor hearing room at 105 West Chesapeake Avenue, Towson, Maryland 21204.
