EPS Variances

The Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS) publishes a list of the environmental administrative variance requests along with their status. The requests are listed by County Council District.

Planning Board Meetings

Baltimore County Planning Board meetings are scheduled as follows:

  • Thursday, March 7, at 4 p.m., in Room 104, Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson
  • Thursday, March 21, at 4 p.m., in Room 104, Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson

Landmarks Preservation Commission Meeting

The Landmarks Preservation Commission meeting will be held on Thursday, March 14, at 6 p.m., in Room 104 of the Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson.

Old Court Road at Park Heights Avenue

Baltimore County is planning to remove part of the existing median in Old Court Road at the Park Heights Avenue intersection to extend the left turn bay. The work is expected to be done this year.

Water Line Replacement on Lake Avenue

Baltimore County is replacing a section of old cast-iron water pipe on Lake Avenue between Falls Road and Lakehurst Drive. Work began in January. The old line, which dates from the 1920s, has failed frequently in recent years and will be replaced with ductile iron pipe. The project, estimated to cost $1.5 million, is five percent complete. The project should be finished by the early summer.

Sewers: Jones Falls Structural Rehabilitation Phase 1

Baltimore County began rehabilitating 66,000 feet of sewer line in July 2017 throughout Council Districts 2 and 5. The project was planned to take a year and a half and will cost $3,393,583.60. It is now 93 percent complete.
