The Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management now is able to communicate with a large number of people directly and instantaneously, particularly during emergency situations. Emergency managers will be able to tell citizens exactly what they need to know during emergencies as well as provide important, but more routine recommendations for emergency preparedness and safety.

The Baltimore County Police and Fire Departments now communicates the most current police and fire news throughout Baltimore County.
