Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Employee Advisory Council

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Employee Advisory Council advocates for, engages in and responds to issues, concerns and needs of the County workforce as it relates to diversity, equity and inclusion across government. The Employee Council’s responsibilities include:

• Providing advisement to and working collaboratively with the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer on specific workforce diversity, equity and inclusion issues, including:
  • Employee training
  • Customer service delivery
  • Public policy analysis and impacts
  • Workplace accommodations
  • Other relevant topics
• Assisting in the planning of workplace initiatives and events designed to foster a culture that acknowledges, advances and celebrates diversity, equity and inclusion across the enterprise

MEETINGS

The Employee Council meets at the request of the Chair as frequently as required to perform its duties, but not less than quarterly.
