Board Meetings
Board Meetings are normally held at this office the second Thursday of the month at 9:45 a.m. (day and time subject to change). Please contact the Elections Board if you wish to attend.
The February meeting is scheduled for the first Thursday of the month on February 2, 2012 at 9:45 a.m.

Redistricting
The Board of Elections is presently printing out Voter Notification Cards to be mailed to voters in changed precincts. Changes to Polling Places are listed in the Congressional Redistricting Updates (PDF) for 2012. The Polling Place Locator will be updated Friday evening January 27, 2012.

Early Voting
The Maryland State Board of Elections will implement early voting for the 2012 Presidential Election to allow more convenient scheduling to the voter.
Timelines and Deadlines
Candidacy Filing Deadline - January 11, 2012 at 9 p.m.
Presidential Primary Election
Voter Registration and Party Affiliation Deadline - March 13, 2012 at 9 p.m. The office remains open until 9 p.m. for the deadline of registration.
Early Voting for Presidential Primary Election - March 24, 2012 through March 29, 2012.
Presidential Primary Election - April 3, 2012. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Presidential General Election
Voter Registration Deadline - October 16, 2012 at 9 p.m. The office remains open until 9 p.m. for the deadline of registration.
Early Voting for Presidential General Election - October 27, 2012 through November 1, 2012.
Presidential General - November 6, 2012. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Absentee Ballot Processing
Information and Instructions about Absentee Voting are provided at the State Board. Fax applications or any correspondence requiring a signature to the Absentee Department Fax at 410-887-0894. Questions about Absentee Ballots may be referred to the Baltimore County Voter Absentee Department. Contact the Absentee Supervisor.
