Annual "Woman of the Year" and "Young Woman of the Year" Awards

Each year, Commission for Women accepts nominations for its annual "Woman of the Year" and "Young Woman of the Year" awards. The award honors female residents of Baltimore County who serve as role models for other women. 

"Woman of the Year" Awards 2010

What You Need to Know About Your Bone Health

An initiative of the Baltimore County Commission for Women in partnership with the National Association of Commissions for Women and U.S. Bone and Joint Decade is to inform women about osteoporosis and what can be done to reduce the risks. We are able to arrange a  “Fit to a T” bone health and osteoporosis education program for groups of 15 or more. It is the mission of the Baltimore County Commission for Women, through education and outreach, to identify and advocate for programs, legislation, and services to meet the needs of the women of Baltimore County.
