Financial Assistance
- Medical
- Medical Assistance (Medicaid) is a Federal and State funded program providing health insurance to persons who meet technical and financial eligibility requirements.
- Temporary Disability Assistance Program (TDAP) provides temporary cash assistance to disabled adults between the age of 18 and 64 years old with no minor children in the home.
- Housing Office Services - Learn more about the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
- Food Supplement Program (FSP) - Formerly known as Food Stamps, provides monthly benefits to families and individuals who need assistance in buying food.
- Energy Assistance - Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP) helps low-income citizens pay their heating bills, minimize heating crises, and make energy more affordable.
- Emergency Assistance (EA) - Obtain information on assistance with utilities turnoff, eviction prevention, burial assistance and more.
- Shelter Information - Emergency shelters are available where meals, social work, health and mental health services are provided.
- Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) - Provides cash assistance to families with children under 18 years old when other services do not fully meet the family's needs.
- Child Care Subsidy (CCS) Program - Assists eligible families with childcare costs while parents work, attend school or training.

Dealing with Abuse, Neglect and Domestic Violence
- Child Protective Services - Report abuse and neglect and find more information.
- Family Violence Unit - Find help for you and your family from domestic violence and sexual assault.
- Protective Services for Adults - Learn more about this program that protects adults 18 years and older, including the elderly, by preventing or remedying neglect, self-neglect, abuse, or exploitation.
Adoptive and Foster Parenting
- Foster and Adoptive Parenting - Learn about foster and adoptive parenting.
- Foster and Adoptive Parent Information Meetings - Find the schedule for upcoming meetings.
- Therapeutic Foster Care - Provides intensive therapeutic and supportive services to children in foster care experiencing emotional, learning, physical, behavioral and complex medical difficulties.
