April is sexually transmitted disease (STD - also known as sexually transmitted infections) Awareness Month! The Baltimore County Department of Health encourages you to prevent future STIs by getting tested. It’s a staggering fact: by age 25 one in two sexually active young people will get HIV or another STI, and not know it. If you would like to receive a free, oral HIV test, see the HIV testing calendar (PDF) for clinic dates, times and locations.
