Description:  Baltimore County, is requesting bids for a contractor to work with Baltimore County Police Department Biology Unit staff to define, measure and analyze the unit's current state. Solutions to bottlenecks and improved procedures shall be developed and implemented to increase the unit's efficiency and decrease its costs. This outside assessment is necessary to assist Baltimore County Police Department Biology Unit to identify process improvements by having independent Lean Six Sigma experts identify potential changes invisible to the unit's staff due to their familiarity with current processes.

SDAT Good Standing Requirement

Vendors conducting business with Baltimore County may need to be registered with the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT). For information on whether registration is required Vendors should call SDAT at 410-767-1340.

Baltimore County verifies the company's status with SDAT and may require the successful bidder to submit a Good Standing Certificate, also known as a "Certificate of Status," issued by the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation's Charter Division, and State of Organization.
