Just after 1 a.m. police responded to the 3400 block of Lambros Road, 21234 for a call of a shooting.

The investigation determined that the victim, an adult male, was in his house when someone fired several shots at the house. One of those bullets entered the house and struck the victim in the upper body. The victim was treated at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for his injuries and later released.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Violent Crimes Unit are continuing the investigation into this shooting and believe that the victim was targeted. The suspect fled the scene before police arrival.

Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit detectives are investigating an incident on Bexhill Road near Turgot Lane that left one man injured.

Police were dispatched to Northwest Hospital around 2:55 a.m. for a patient with a possible gunshot wound. Medical staff have determined that the injury the 36-year-old victim sustained is actually a laceration or possibly a stab wound. He is expected to recover.

The victim indicated that he was walking with friends on Bexhill Road when they were approached by a vehicle. At least three suspects exited the vehicle and began a physical altercation with the group, during which shots were heard being fired. The victim fled and was later transported to the hospital for what he thought was a gunshot wound.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual in the area at that time is asked to contact Baltimore County Police by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.
