Baltimore County Police investigate a crash in Upperco today that left a bicyclist dead.

On August 1 just after 2:30 p.m. a Toyota Matrix drove east on Mount Carmel Road near Pleasant Meadow Road, 21155 behind a bicyclist. The Toyota hit the rear of the bicycle, causing the bicyclist to fall. The bicyclist, identified as Isaac Scharbach (21) of the 16000 block of Dark Hollow Road, 21155, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene. 

Investigators from the Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team are asking anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact police at 410-307-2020.

A pedestrian struck on Eastern Boulevard late Monday night has died.

Officers were called to the scene on Eastern Boulevard near Kingston Road just after 11 p.m. on July 6 when the pedestrian attempted to cross Eastern Boulevard and stepped into the path of an oncoming Nissan Altima. The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash and the driver of the Nissan did remain at the scene.

The pedestrian, identified as Stephen Richard Garrett (44) of the 2200 block of Redthorn Road, 21220, was transported by medics with critical injuries and died yesterday at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing to investigate the factors involved in this fatal crash.

The driver of the Nissan Altima has been identified as Richard Burlingame Willson, 71 years old, of the 800 block of Briar Hill Place, 21221. Willson has been charged with driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and bail has been denied.

Update: (December 5, 2019 8:30 a.m.)

Police have charged with driver responsible for the crash that resulted in the death of a 15-year-old in Dundalk. Jennifer Jean Jones, 30, of the 300-block of Chalet Drive, 21108, has been charged with negligent manslaughter by vehicle. Jones is currently being held at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections on denied bail status.

Just after 5:30 p.m. on December 3, 2019, Baltimore County Police responded to Delvale Avenue at Martell Avenue, 21222 for a pedestrian crash. Officers conducted their investigation and determined that a 2006 Nissan Altima was traveling north on Delvale Avenue when the car drove onto the sidewalk. The car then struck a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk. The pedestrian has been identified as Trinity Lynn Brooks, 15, of the 1800-block of East Avenue, 21222. Trinity was later pronounced deceased by Baltimore County Fire Department personnel.

The driver of the Altima has been taken into custody. More information will be released once the driver has been formally charged by police.
