County Executive-Elect John Olszewski, Jr. Announces National Search for Replacement

At the request of incoming County Executive John Olszewski, Jr., Baltimore County Administrative Officer Fred Homan will retire from county government, effective December 3. A national search will be held to identify a replacement.

“Mr. Homan has been the chief steward of Baltimore County’s fiscal management for decades,” said Olszewski. “I thank him for his years of exemplary service.”

“When Fred leaves, it is truly the end of an era,” said County Executive Don Mohler. “No one has worked harder for the taxpayers of Baltimore County. I am proud to call him a friend.”

County Executive Elect-Olszewski will announce an acting administrative officer prior to December 3.
