We know this is a trying time for small business owners. Baltimore County has created an online form to help you promote your services to residents. The information you share through this form will be added to our BaltCo To-Go Map where residents can search for restaurants offering carry out, drive through and delivery services. Should your offerings change over the course of this crisis, enter a new submission to the form with the updated information, and the application will identify the previous entry as a duplicate and remove the old entry.

Listening Sessions

Baltimore County will begin listening sessions to document critical needs in the Tourism sector. Email if you would like to participate. RSVP by email is strongly recommended to manage an orderly listening session.

About the Office

The Baltimore County Office of Tourism and Cultural Arts supports the tourism industry by offering numerous opportunities for visitors and residents alike to enjoy the County’s many rich attractions. In 2019, The Department of Economic and Workforce Developmentcommissioned a study to assess the County’s tourism landscape. Citing the County’s strong foundation of resources and assets, the study projects that expanded investments and strategic improvements to the tourism sector of the County could generate approximately $7 billion in tourism spending over a 10-year period.

Grant Programs

Arts and Sciences Grants

The Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences encourages the development of high-quality artistic programs through grants to cultural institutions and nonprofit organizations in the Greater Baltimore area that benefit County residents.

Tourism Celebration Grant

This year, the Office of Tourism and Cultural Arts is sponsoring the Tourism Celebration Grant to support the County Executive’s commitment to celebrating the rich offerings of the local tourism industry. The grant is the first-ever program offered by the County and is designed to stimulate the local economy through inspiring events, building meaningful partnerships and cultivating community stakeholders to engage strategically with our vast tourism resources. The intended use of these funds is to increase tourism and enhance visitor experiences in the County.

Application Process

Both steps are required: review the grant criteria and complete the application (PDF) and apply for financial assistance (PDF). Email with questions.

Grant Information Workshops

Email with any questions. To ensure public safety, the grant workshops have been moved to an email format. We will compile the questions into an FAQ and respond on a weekly basis.
