Parkville Shooting Under Investigation

UPDATED RELEASE (June 6, 2025)

Homicide detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department have arrested 27-year-old Anthony Jackson and 23-year-old Daiquon Ferguson for the homicide of 19-year-old Andrew Blessing. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on December 9, 2024, officers responded to the 900 block of Beaverbank Circle, 21286, following reports of a shooting. When officers arrived they located Blessing suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Blessing was later pronounced deceased at an area hospital.

In addition to murder, Ferguson faces charges of attempted murder, following a non-fatal shooting that occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. on May 29, 2025, in the 1800 block of East Joppa Road, 21234.

As the investigations into these cases continue, Jackson and Ferguson remain held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

ORIGINAL RELEASE (MAY 30, 2025)

Detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday, May 29, at approximately 10:40 p.m., in the 1800 block of E Joppa Rd., 21234. Officers located a 25-year-old male and a 24-year-old male with apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to area hospitals with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. 

As the investigation into this incident continues, detectives are asking anyone with information about the case to contact 410-887-4636 (INFO).

Reward Offered

Information may also be provided anonymously by contacting Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587(7LOCKUP). Information provided by phone or online through Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000. Residents may also provide details about this crime through the Baltimore County Police Department’s iWATCH program.
