UPDATE SEPTEMBER 14, 2022

The Baltimore County Police Department had one officer discharge his service weapon during an incident at the intersection of Philadelphia Road and Hamilton Avenue Saturday evening. Per departmental policy, we are releasing the last name of the officer, the precinct the officer is assigned to and his years of service.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 12, 2022

Criminal charges have been filed against 30-year-old Alicia Page and 31-year-old Kelly Anthony following the assault of several Baltimore County police officers Saturday, September 10. Alicia Page has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first and second degree assault, as well as theft and malicious destruction of property.

31-year-old Kelly Anthony faces charges of second degree assault, obstructing and hindering as well as theft.

Anthony and Page are being held without bond. Anthony is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center; Page remains in the custody of BCDC at the hospital.

ORIGINAL SEPTEMBER 11, 2022

Just after 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, a Baltimore County police officer was assaulted while working uniform-secondary employment in the 8100 block of Honeygo Boulevard.

Officers later conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the intersection of Philadelphia Road and Hamilton Avenue. During that stop, as officers were attempting to arrest the suspects, the driver of the vehicle began to ram police units and other vehicles with their car. During this assault, at least one officer discharged their firearm.

The suspect vehicle, which fled the location, was followed by officers into Baltimore City where it came to a stop in the area of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Officers took the driver into custody, rendered aid, and escorted her into the hospital.

The officer initially assaulted was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
