On August 27, at approximately 9:35 p.m., officers from the Towson precinct received a call for a potential drowning in the 8700 block of Mylander Lane. Officers and medics arrived on scene, and located a male victim who appeared to be unresponsive inside a pool at the location. The victim was transported by medics to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
On Monday, detective identified the deceased male as 15-year-old Jayden Mejia.
