Baltimore County detectives have charged 61-year-old William Mints with first-degree assault after a shooting that occurred this weekend. On Saturday, around noon, Baltimore County police officers responded to the 7500 block of Windsor Mill Rd., 21244, for a reported shooting. When they arrived, officers located Mints, who remained at the scene, and a man in his 20’s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the gunshot victim to an area hospital, where he remains in stable condition, suffering from what appears to be a non-life threatening injury. Mints, who suffered only minor injuries, was treated at the scene. Mints remains held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
