On April 24, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers from the White Marsh Precinct responded to the 6000 block of Marquette Road for reports of a shooting. Once on scene officers discovered a male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. During the course of their investigation, detectives determined that the shooting occurred at a nearby basketball court. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Detectives from the Baltimore County Violent Crimes Unit are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
