Detectives arrested 51-year-old Murkey Spruill and 23-year-old Dandre Cannon in connection to a shooting that occurred on November 21, in the 2100 block of Eastern Avenue. Spruill and Cannon have been charged with attempted first degree murder and first degree assault. Both suspects are being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 22, 2021 

Baltimore County VCU detectives continue to follow up on leads into the shooting of a 16-year-old on Sunday. Detectives have determined the victim, who was shot in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Eastern Blvd., ran to a nearby business for help.

ORIGINAL NOVEMBER 21, 2021 

At approximately 4:15 p.m., Baltimore County Police responded to 2100 block of Eastern Blvd., 21220, for a reported assault that involved a handgun. When officers arrived, they located a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this case or those responsible are being urged to contact VCU detectives by calling 911 or 410-307-2020. To be eligible for a reward, phone 1-866-7Lockup.
