UPDATE (March 10, 2022 5:05 p.m.) 

Baltimore County detectives have arrested and charged 21-year-old Daqwan Sterling in the March 9, 2021 homicide of Zaire Drake-Cummings. Sterling is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.

UPDATE (March 10, 2021 1:14 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police have identified the man fatally shot in Milford Mill last night as Zaire Saiyan Winter Drake-Cummings (19) of the 600 block of Aldershot Road, 21229. He was pronounced deceased at the scene of a double shooting in the 3600 block of North Rolling Road, 21229 around 6:42 p.m. last night. 

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit are asking anyone who may have information in this case to call 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.

Original Release (March 9, 2021 11:03 p.m.):

One man is dead and another hospitalized after being shot in Milford Mill tonight.

Just after 6:30 p.m., the two men were shot near the intersection of Rolling Road and Church Lane. One of the men was shot in the lower body and was transported to a local hospital, the other died from his injuries.    

Baltimore County Homicide Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and ask anyone who may have information to contact them by calling 410-307-2020, Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.
