24-year-old Damion Moffett has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 21-year-old DeShawnte Young in the 2900 block of Yorkway in Dundalk.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department’s Homicide Unit have identified the victim involved in last night’s homicide which occurred in the 2900 block of Yorkway.

The victim has been identified as 21-year-old DeShawnte Young. This homicide remains an open and active investigation.

One Dead After Shooting in Dundalk

A shooting in Dundalk tonight has left a man dead.

Police responded to the scene around 7:52.

When they arrived officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot would to the upper body in the 2900 block of Yorkway.

The victim was later pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Police are still searching for the suspect who fled the scene.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department’s Homicide Unit are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
