1991 Homicide Victim

Photo of Angela Wanita Bowens, found murdered in 1991. On Saturday, November 30, 1991, Angela Wanita Bowens was seen by a friend standing on Edmondson Avenue near Poplar Grove Street, 21223 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Angela told the friend that she was waiting for a "new guy" to pick her up.

Around 9:45 p.m. later that night, two motorists who were driving past the Diamond Ridge Family Park, located in the 7500 block of Dogwood Road, 21244 observed the body of a black female lying in the parking lot.

Police were called to the scene where they found Angela Wanita Bowens suffering from a gunshot wound. She lived in the 2700 block of Lauretta Avenue, 21223.

Reward Offered

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Government, offers rewards of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges in connection with felony offenses.
