Crime Statistics

Crime Statistics by Category and Precinct

Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski released a Crime Data Dashboard on August 7, 2020. Residents can view detailed information about crime and obtain crime statistics in Baltimore County.

This interactive data dashboard includes County Part 1 Crime data from 2017 to present. The dashboard will be updated each month.

According to data through the first six months of 2020, Baltimore County reported reductions in homicides and all other major crime categories. No Part 1 crime categories saw year-over-year increases.

This tool represents another resource used by Baltimore County to improve government transparency and accountability. It was developed as part of BCSTAT, a data-driven performance management program to create accountability, improve performance, ensure data quality and increase transparency across Baltimore County.
