County offices are closed on Monday, October 10, for Indigenous Peoples' Day. 

The County’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a six-year plan for the construction and maintenance of the County’s:

  • Community improvements
  • Government buildings
  • Land preservation
  • Parks
  • Refuse disposal facilities
  • Roads and bridges
  • Schools
  • Water, sewer and storm drain improvements
  • Watershed restoration

Fiscal Year 2024 through Fiscal Year 2029

Formulation has begun of the Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2024 through Fiscal Year 2029.

The Department of Planning manages the role of the Planning Board in the development of the County’s CIP. The CIP is a major means tool for implementing the goals and priorities of the County’s Master Plan. The CIP is reviewed annually. The Planning Board’s involvement will begin in October 2022 with the scheduling of a citizen input meeting and will conclude in March of 2023 when the board forwards its recommendations to the Office of Budget and Finance.
