One Person Dead in Catonsville Dwelling Fire

One person is dead following a Catonsville house fire yesterday.
The cause of the fire and the identity of the male victim remain under investigation by BCoPD fire investigators.
Fire units were dispatched at 6:14 p.m. to the 2500 block of Old Frederick Road, 21228, where crews found heavy smoke showing from the home. The fire was upgraded to a working basement fire. Firefighters reported hoarding conditions and found the victim in the basement.
The fire was contained at 6:24 p.m. and under control at 7:14 p.m.
