Spring
Though we think of spring as a mild, gentle time of year, spring in the mid-Atlantic can bring severe weather. This severe spring weather usually takes two forms:
- Flooding, including flash floods, caused by heavy rains
- Tornadoes
Summer
- Extreme heat
