Towson, MD – Baltimore County and the Women’s Commission will recognize three outstanding women during its 40th Annual “Woman of the Year” Awards Ceremony. The event will take place on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Baltimore County Council Chambers.

The 2022 recipients are:

  • Miriam Talalay as the “Young Woman of the Year,” a senior at Dulaney High School, a leader inside and outside of the classroom dedicated to volunteerism.

The Women of the Year awards are given to County residents who have enhanced the lives of citizens and made significant contributions in the community, workplace, or school to further the interests of women and children.

“These impressive women are true advocates for those in need,” said County Executive Johnny Olszewski,” and are well deserving of this recognition.” “I would like to thank Ms. Bullock, Ms. Taylor-Mitchell and Ms. Talalay for their passionate work on behalf of Baltimore County residents and look forward to watching them create a legacy of activism and volunteerism for years to come.”
