The Self-Help Office is currently offering Family Law assistance via virtual appointments. If the assistance you need does not require an appointment, you may email the Office with your inquiry.
Services
The Office can:
- Help with Family Law court forms, which may be obtained at the Law Library, the Clerk’s Office or online through the Maryland Judiciary. Learn more about electronic filing.
- Explain Family Law court processes
- Help you open, answer or move your Family Law case forward. Check the status of your case.
The Office cannot:
- Give legal advice
- File paperwork for you
- Represent you in court
About Your Appointment
Virtual, 30-minute appointments are available. After booking your appointment, you will receive two emails:
- An appointment confirmation email. This email is automatically generated when you schedule your appointment and will arrive in your inbox immediately after booking. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, the link to do so can be found at the bottom of this email.
- A meeting access email which will include the instructions and link you will use to access the meeting. This will arrive in your inbox at least 24 hours before your scheduled meeting time.
Schedule Your Appointment
The office is closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from noon to 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
