Adoptable Pets
Bartholomeow

Bartholomeow's previous owner said he was very affectionate and did well with respectful dogs and children. He could do well with both if proper introductions are done.
Intake reason: Owner surrender due to not getting along with other cats in the home
Additional info: He needs to be the only cat in his adoptive home.
Medical info: Bart is FIV+. FIV is a lifelong illness that can reduce the immune system of affected cats. Because of this, affected cats may exhibit recurrent infections, slow or prolonged recovery times, and may have an increased risk for certain types of cancers. FIV cannot be spread to humans or other species of pets. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy and happy lives and commonly go many years or their entire lifetime without any symptoms. The average life expectancy at time of diagnosis is 5 years, although many live much longer. It is important for FIV positive cats to have regular veterinary visits, stay up to date on vaccinations, and seek veterinary care if at any time they become sick.
This pet is up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Adoption hours are 12-5pm daily at 13800 Manor Road in Baldwin. Head to our ‘Adoption Resources’ tab for more information on our adoption process, fees and exceptions!
