The County is taking a number of actions to keep residents safe and minimize the spread of COVID-19. Find status information.

County offices are closed on Friday, June 18, in observance of Juneteenth. 

County Executive Olszewski and Baltimore County government are working to protect the health, safety and well-being of residents. We will continue to work around the clock to identify additional resources to provide food security for Baltimore County families during this challenging time.

Food Distribution Map

The Food Distribution Site Map includes:

  • Sites for weekday meal distribution operated by both Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) and Baltimore County Government
  • Sites for Saturday family food distribution operated by Baltimore County Government
  • Operational food pantries

Users can search for locations closest to where they live. The map will be updated as additional food resources become available.

Food Distribution for Senior Citizens Age 60 and Older

Until the Eating Together program resumes on July 1, 2021, the Baltimore County Department of Aging will continue to provide a weekly bulk food program for seniors. One member per household can register online or call 410-887-2040 on Mondays between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a weekly food kit. Learn more about the program. 

Baltimore County Public Schools Meal Distribution

Baltimore County Public Schools will provide school meals, at no cost, to all children ages 2 to 18 by curbside pickup or by bus delivery. Visit the BCPS website for more information.

Winter Youth Meal Distribution

Baltimore County is partnering with Baltimore County Public Library (BCPL) and Kidz Table to provide meals for youth at nine BCPL locations around the County.

Starting September 14, two breakfasts and two lunches will be served from Noon to 2 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the following locations:

Saturday Food Distribution

With support from multiple agencies and regional partners, Baltimore County is offering limited food distribution for families on Saturdays, starting at 10 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Maryland Department of Human Services has been approved to issue SNAP emergency allotments (PDF) to all current SNAP households for only the months of April and May.
