Latest Episode of “The County” Podcast Highlights Historic Budget Proposal

TOWSON, MD — Baltimore County today released the latest episode of its podcast, “The County,”(link is external) which focuses on County Executive Johnny Olszewski’s recent Fiscal Year 2024 budget proposal.

Introduced earlier this month(link is external), Olszewski’s $4.9 billion budget proposal provides historic funding for public education, creates near-universal community college for county residents, and provides record investment in government employees — among other key priorities that will move Baltimore County forward.

Hosted by a diverse set of County employees, each episode of “The County” explores local issues important to residents and visitors alike, highlights the area’s vibrant communities, and introduces listeners to some of the best Baltimore County has to offer.
