Baltimore County Accepting Nominations For Commission on Disabilities Awards

The Baltimore County Commission on Disabilities is now accepting nominations for its 2022 annual awards program. Seven award categories will be considered, involving activities related to education, employment, advocacy, volunteerism and accessibility. The awards program seeks to recognize individual achievements of people with disabilities and activities undertaken by individuals, groups or organizations that contribute to the well-being and independence of people with disabilities.

"Advocating for those in need is important, selfless work that helps the County’s most vulnerable access the resources they deserve,” said Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski. "I thank the Baltimore County Commission on Disabilities for continuing this proud tradition and strongly encourage residents to consider nominating one of many worthy candidates today."
