TOWSON, MD — Baltimore County invites public comment on the draft update to the County’s plan for delivering services under the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

The draft Baltimore County Local Workforce Area Plan 2020-2024 provides crucial updates to the previous 2016-2020 Baltimore County Local Area Workforce Plan, and identifies a 5-year strategic vision which outlines the County’s efforts to achieve a data-driven workforce system that effectively connects job seekers and workers with employment, education, and training opportunities to help them succeed in the labor market. The plan details strategies to meet employers’ current and projected demand for skilled workers from diverse talent pools.
