Laws Regulating Fireworks

The use of backyard fireworks without a permit is illegal; some ground-based and handheld sparklers are legal in Baltimore County. Read the laws regulating fireworks. Thousands of people are injured every year in fireworks-related incidents. Fire officials encourage you to enjoy fireworks safely by visiting a legal display.

Displays Throughout Maryland

The State Fire Marshal provides a list of approved fireworks displays throughout Maryland.
