The County is taking a number of actions to keep residents safe and minimize the spread of COVID-19. Find status information for County operations and services.

Food Resources

County Executive Olszewski and Baltimore County government are working to protect the health, safety and well-being of residents. We will continue to work around the clock to identify additional resources to provide food security for Baltimore County families during this challenging time.

Food Distribution Map

The Food Distribution Site Map includes:

  • Sites for weekday meal distribution operated by both Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) and the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks
  • Saturday family grocery pickup Drive-and-Go distribution sites
  • Operational food pantries

Users can search for locations closest to where they live. The map will be updated as additional food resources become available.


Groceries for Families

Groceries for families are distributed at the Recreation and Parks PAL Centers and several additional locations on Saturdays only, starting at 11 a.m. Residents can drive up and have food placed in their cars without leaving their cars. One package per car. For locations, see the list below.

Meal Distribution

Baltimore County Public Schools

Baltimore County Public Schools is offering free meals for students at locations around the County. Visit the BCPS website to find designated locations.

Department Of Recreation and Parks

The Department of Recreation and Parks offers limited meal distribution with support from the Maryland Food Bank and Healthy Food Access St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore.

Beginning April 6, Rec and Parks PAL Centers will offer take-away, Grab-and-Go meals Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. This meal pickup will include two breakfasts and two dinners each day.

There are a limited number of meals available and they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. See the list below for locations.


The following locations will offer grocery pickup on Saturdays only, starting at 11 a.m. Unless noted otherwise, locations will also offer Grab-and-Go meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. This meal pickup will include two breakfasts and two dinners each day.

Restaurants can self-report whether they are offering services during this time by completing the County's online form. Restaurant operators can share their location and what services they are providing, and the data collected will populate an interactive online map, BaltCo To-Go, that residents can search.
