UPDATE (April 3, 2018 10:28 a.m.):

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit have arrested a suspect in the Sunday night triple shooting on Cinnamon Circle.

Police say that a prior business dispute between Goodwyn and the adult male victim led to the shooting on Easter Sunday. Goodwyn drove up to the apartments where the man and woman were outside playing with his children and began shooting from the vehicle, then got out of the vehicle and continued shooting as the family took shelter in an apartment. Goodwyn then got back into his vehicle and fled. The man, his girlfriend, and his 5-year-old son all suffered non life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Goodwyn is held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on denied bail status.

Detectives continue to follow up on leads this morning in a triple shooting on Cinnamon Circle in Randallstown last night.

The man (24), his girlfriend (21) and her 5-year-old child were outside when a suspect approached and began shooting at them. They ran for cover inside an apartment but all three suffered gunshot wounds - the man to his lower body, the woman to her upper body, and the child to the lower body. All three are expected to survive their wounds.

Police believe this was a targeted shooting. The Violent Crimes Unit continues to investigate.

Original Release (April 1, 2018 7:23 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police are investigating a triple shooting of a family in Randallstown tonight.

Officers responded to the scene in the unit block of Cinnamon Circle, 21133 around 5:45 p.m. after neighbors called 911 with reports of shots fired. An adult man suffered at least one gunshot wound to his lower body, his girlfriend suffered at least one gunshot wound to her upper body, and her juvenile son also suffered at least one gunshot wound. All three were transported to area hospitals and are expected to survive their wounds.

Police have no information on the circumstances surrounding the shooting yet, but believe that at least one member of the family was a targeted victim. The assailant fled the scene immediately following the shooting and is currently outstanding.

The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is on scene and taking over the investigation.
