Update 8/31/18 3:00 p.m.

Baltimore County Police have identified the man who drowned in the Loch Raven Reservoir on August 27th. Terry J. Ousley, 24, of the 5000-block of Pine Needle in Mascotte, Florida was in the area seeking employment. Mr. Ousley was located by Baltimore County Police Dive Team members and pronounced deceased at the scene. 

 

Update: 8/28/18 1:00 p.m.

Baltimore County Police Marine and Dive Teams responded to the Loch Raven Reservoir to recover the body of the drowning victim. At 6:21 p.m., Police divers recovered the body. The identity of the drowning victim has not been determined at this time. If anyone has information, please contact Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.

Divers continue to search for a person who apparently drowned in the Loch Raven Reservoir earlier today.

Baltimore County Fire officials turned the search over to Baltimore City Police Department's Marine Unit at about 2:20 p.m.

BCoFD units responded at 10:53 a.m. to the 10500 flock of Pot Spring Rd., 21030, for an inland water rescue. Witnesses saw a male person go under the water without resurfacing.

Water rescue units from the Texas Fire Station, Kingsville VFC and Arbutus VFC were unable to locate the victim.  Rescue operations ended and recovery operations began at about 12:40 p.m.

A dive unit from Gamber & Community Volunteer Fire Co. (Carroll County) provided mutual aid on this call.
