Police have identified the victim of yesterday's fatal shooting as Davon Lamar Fuqua (32) of the unit block of Swampscott Court in Parkville, 21237. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this shooting.

Original Release (May 11, 2017 12:42 p.m.):

A Parkville man is dead after being shot by an unknown suspect early this morning.

The victim (32), whose identity has not yet been released, was shot once in the upper body after parking his car in the unit block of Swampscott Court around 2 a.m. As he and his girlfriend were walking from the car to the building an unknown suspect approached, shot the victim, then fled the scene. The victim’s girlfriend was unharmed.

Police believe that the victim was targeted by the suspect and are asking anyone with information on this crime to contact police at 410-307-2020.
