A weekend two-alarm fire at a Woodlawn U-Haul storage facility remains under investigation by Baltimore County Police fire investigators.

Crews were dispatched at 3:08 a.m. Saturday to the 1500 block of Woodlawn Dr., 21207 for a report of a fire alarm sounding. First-arriving crews from the Westview station found heavy smoke. Crews made entry and found several storage units on fire.

Commanders called a second alarm at 4:01; the stubborn fire was called under control at 5:20 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Three storage units were damaged, including the contents.

Original release (December 12, 2015  10:23 p.m.):

Two bystanders were injured in a shooting outside Mirrors Hookah Lounge in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive, 21207, just after the lounged closed early Saturday morning.

Police responded at approximately 2:17 a.m. after receiving a call for a shooting on the parking lot of Mirrors.  A small disturbance inside had initiated an early closing of the establishment. Shortly after all of the patrons had exited and were outside on the parking lot, shots rang out and two of the patrons suffered gun shot wounds. Both were transported to area hospitals for treatment. One is expected to survive the injuries while the condition of the other is still unknown.

Police are still investigating but have no suspect information at this time.

Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit continues to investigate this crime.

Baltimore County Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle responsible for striking a pedestrian on Security Boulevard and fleeing the scene on August 16.

At 2:45 a.m. on August 16, Baltimore County Police responded to Security Boulevard and Woodlawn Drive for a serious crash.

The initial investigation into the incident has indicated that a 21-year-old male was riding a skateboard on west-bound Security Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. After reviewing evidence at the scene, investigators believe that the suspect vehicle is a dark blue or black 2015 Toyota Venza. The suspect vehicle should have damage to the driver’s side headlight area.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
