UPDATE (January 17, 2017 10:12 a.m.):

An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday in the case of the White Marsh Mall voyeur. The man, identified as Mussawwir M. Sterrett (40) of the 3600 block of Woodsdale Road in Abingdon, was arrested yesterday afternoon.

Mussawwir Sterrett is charged with Prurient Intent and Peeping Tom and is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on denied bail status.

Detectives are now asking anyone who believes they used the facilities in the family bathroom at White Marsh Mall on December 23 around 3-6 p.m. to contact detectives at the Crimes Against Children Unit at 410-853-3650.

UPDATE (January 12, 2017 11:17 a.m.):

Thanks to information provided by citizens after this voyeur's image was publicly released, he has been identified. Charges will be forthcoming as detectives continue their investigation.

Original Release (January 11, 2017 1:38 p.m.):

The suspect who set up a "spy camera" in a White Marsh Mall restroom caught himself on camera, and now police are seeking the public's help in identifying him.

The camera was found by a patron in the family restroom of the food court area in White Marsh Mall around 6:30 p.m. on December 23. It was secured with electrical tape to a partition dividing two lavatory areas, pointing toward one of the facilities. The camera and recording equipment, including an SD card containing video footage, were turned over to police.

Upon reviewing the video footage officers were able to determine there were very few people caught on video, indicating the camera was there for only a short period of time. Also caught on video is the perpetrator, who unintentionally recorded himself securing the camera to the stall partition. A portion of that video can be viewed on our YouTube page here.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Crimes Against Children Unit are continuing this investigation and are asking anyone who recognizes this suspect to contact police at 410-307-2020.

Baltimore County Police have charged a teacher in connection with two incidents of voyeurism involving minor students at Milford Mill Academy High School in Windsor Mill.

Christopher R. Clark, 46, of the 3600 block of Hampstead Mexico Road in Hampstead, a special education teacher at Milford Mill Academy, has been charged on a criminal summons with Prurient Intent.

An investigation was initiated after school staff members learned that Clark left his cell phone recording in a room female students use to change their clothes. One of the students saw the cell phone recording and took it to another teacher. The investigation revealed at least one additional incident in January during which Clark recorded a student changing clothes. Both incidents occurred on school property.

This incident continues to be investigated by the Baltimore County Crimes Against Children Unit. Anyone having additional information is asked to contact police at 410-307-2020.
