UPDATE (October 21, 2019 9:22 a.m):

The man killed in a shooting on Meteor Court Saturday night is identified as Kwame Nkrumah H. Alston (40) of the 3000 block of W. Mosher Street, 21216.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.

Original Release (October 20, 2019 11:24 a.m.)

One man died last night following a shooting on Meteor Court in the Towson Precinct.

Police were dispatched to the shooting at 9:25 p.m. in the unit block of Meteor Court, 21234 where they located the man lying near the sidewalk. Baltimore County EMS also responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. No suspect was located at the scene.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is continuing their investigation into the incident this morning. Anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual around 9 p.m. last night is asked to contact them by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.

Baltimore County Police are searching for a SUV involved in a February 7th hit and run on Deveron Road near Glen Keith Boulevard in the Parkville area. Just before 8:30 p.m., the SUV was traveling on Deveron Road when the vehicle struck a parked Ford Edge. Police are not aware of any injuries at this point. The suspect vehicle continued on Deveron towards Loch Raven Boulevard.

The suspect SUV should have damage to the front passenger side. If anyone has information about this hit and run, please call 9-1-1 or the Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.
