The Baltimore County Police Department will partner with Towson University this weekend to ensure a safe and successful Tigerfest.

Special enforcement patrols will be visible April 12 through April 14 in the Donnybrook, Knollwood, Cardiff Hall, Berkshire, The Colony and Kenilworth Avenue apartment areas. Added patrols will be in the Donnybrook area at bar closing time to ensure a smooth transition of pedestrian traffic and minimal impact on the citizens of the Towson community. Towson University will supply additional supplemental funds to assist the Police Department in providing extra police coverage.

The Towson Precinct will have officers stationed throughout the weekend, with fully staffed support units assisting officers with the festival.

Student and Resident Safety a Priority

Officers will patrol affected neighborhoods to address any disorderly and illegal behavior.

Baltimore County Police remind everyone to drink responsibly, make good choices regarding personal safety and respect neighbors who are not participating in the festivities.

Special enforcement patrols will be visible April 15 and 16, from 11 a.m. until 3 a.m. in the Donnybrook, Knollwood, Burkleigh Square, Towson Manor and apartment complexes on Kenilworth Drive. Towson University is providing additional grant funds for extra police. The Towson Precinct will have an additional 15 officers on duty over the weekend.

Traffic officers will be on duty to keep traffic flowing and the public safe.
