Baltimore County Police are investigating a man's death after the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner rules the death a homicide by blunt force trauma.

Officers were called to the Howard Johnson Hotel in the 400 block of Reisterstown Road, 21208, just before 1 p.m. Monday afternoon, March 25, for a call of a patient in cardiac arrest. The housekeeping staff discovered the unconscious man, identified as Kenneth Ernest Gellner (62) with no fixed address, when they entered to clean the room. He was pronounced deceased by medics at the scene.

Police are asking anyone who may have information to contact the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit by calling 410-307-2020.

UPDATE (March 19, 2019 2:19 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police Homicide detectives have made an arrest for homicide in the suspicious death of a man on Kinship Road in Dundalk last week.

Booking photo of Albert MuldrowPolice began investigating the death of Martino Robert Duffin (32) as a homicide due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death when they found him in his apartment. Officers were responding to a 9-1-1 call from concerned family members after they were unable to contact him late last week.

An autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Duffin's death a homicide by gunshot wound.

As a result of the early investigative measures taken by Homicide Unit detectives, evidence was collected that led them to charge Albert Myron Muldrow (31) of the 8400 block of Pioneer Drive, 21144 with first degree murder today. He is held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on denied bail status pending a bail review hearing.

Detectives are continuing to investigate to determine a motive for this killing.

Baltimore County Police Homicide Detectives are investigating a suspicious death in Dundalk after police find the resident dead in his apartment.

Family members contacted police around 6 p.m. Friday night to have officers check on the welfare of Martino Robert Duffin (32) of the 100 block of Kinship Road, 21222, indicating they hadn't heard from him since Tuesday and were unable to reach him by phone. When officers arrived at the location they made entry into the residence where they discovered the body of Duffin with undetermined trauma to the upper body. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This incident is being investigated as a homicide with no suspect information at this stage in the investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything out of the ordinary at that location late last week, or anyone who may have possible information regarding this incident, to contact Homicide detectives by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.

UPDATE (June 12, 2018 1:48 p.m.):

Detectives have positively identified the man found dead behind a dumpster at Eastpoint Mall yesterday morning as Ronald Rek Killmon (51) with a last known address in the 8400 block of Kavanagh Road, 21222. The cause and manner of his death remain undetermined pending autopsy.

Original Release (June 11, 2018 4:07 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police are investigating after a body was found behind a dumpster at Eastpoint Mall this morning.

Police responded to the scene behind the Kool Smiles Dental Office at 7839 Eastern Avenue, 21224 around 8:46 a.m. for a call of a cardiac arrest when the body was discovered. Homicide detectives were called to the scene after the victim, an adult man, was found to have suffered some type of trauma to the upper body. The preliminary investigation indicates that the death may have been due to a non-criminal event that caused a fatal injury. The final determination as to cause and manner of death will be made following an autopsy at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit will continue to investigate this incident.
