UPDATE (February 24, 2020 2:10 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police have identified the man found deceased in a waterway at the Back River Waste Water Treatment Plant Friday morning as Edward William Deaver (31) with no fixed address.

Detectives are awaiting autopsy results by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine cause and manner of death but do not believe foul play is involved.

Original Release (February 21, 2020 10:58 a.m.):

Police are investigating after a body is found in the water in Dundalk Precinct.

Officers were called to the 8200 block of Eastern Avenue, 21224 at 8:24 a.m. when the body of a man was discovered in the water near the Back River Waste Water Treatment Plant. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives are on the scene investigating the circumstances of the man's death. The body is being transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.

UPDATE (February 3, 2020 10:10 a.m.):

The man found deceased in an alley behind Fifth Avenue last night is identified as Sye'he Rashaad Brunson (18) of the 500 block of Lucia Avenue, 21229.

Brunson was found with what appears to be at least one gunshot wound to the upper body and pronounced deceased at the scene. Anyone who may have information on this case is asked to contact Homicide detectives by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.

Original Release (February 2, 2020 9:41 p.m.):

Homicide detectives are investigating a suspicious death after police responded to an unknown medical problem.

Police and medics were dispatched to an alley behind the 700 block of Fifth Avenue in Lansdowne around 8 p.m. when a passerby found a male victim lying unconscious with trauma to the upper body. Medics responded and pronounced the subject deceased at the scene.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything out of the ordinary around or shortly before 8 p.m. is asked to contact the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.

Police have confirmed the identity of a deceased man found along a walking trail in the Woodstock area of Patapsco Valley State Park last Thursday afternoon.

The man, identified as Darius Bernard Singleton (27) of the 3400 block of Courtleigh Drive, 21244, was found around 3:45 p.m. on April 25 when a couple walking along the trail came across the unconscious man. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body and police are now awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause and manner of Mr. Singleton's death.

The case continues to be investigated by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit. Anyone with information can contact detectives by calling 410-307-2020.
