Original post (November 24, 2017; 4:31 p.m.): Start planning ahead for road closures and detours in Baltimore County during the viewing and funeral arrangements for slain Baltimore City Detective Sean Suiter next week.


The viewings are scheduled for Monday, November 27 and Tuesday, November 28 at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services in the 8700 block of Liberty Road in Randallstown beginning at 3 p.m and ending at 8 p.m. both days.

Police are expecting to reduce Liberty Road traffic to a single lane from Brenbrook Drive westward to McDonogh Road. There will also be a lane reduction on the north side of Brenbrook Drive.

Alternate routes include:

  • Windsor Mill Road to Old Court Road to Greens Lane
  • Church Lane
  • Winands Road

Funeral Services and Internment

The funeral will be held Wednesday, November 29 at Mt. Pleasant Church in the 6000 block of Radecke Avenue at 11 a.m. followed by a procession to the internment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in the 200 block of Padonia Road in Lutherville-Timonium around 1 p.m.

Affected roadways will include:

  • Radecke Avenue
  • Chesaco Avenue
  • Horst Road
  • I-95
  • I-695
  • I-83
  • Padonia Road

More details on Wednesday's road closures and expected time frames will be announced on Monday, November 27. Until then, expect delays and heavy traffic on the listed roadways and plan accordingly.
