Just before 11:30 p.m. on August 14, 2019, Baltimore County Police responded to the intersection of Philadelphia Road and New Forge Road, 21162 for a pedestrian-involved crash. Investigation determined that a 2005 Buick was traveling eastbound on Philadelphia Road when the car struck the pedestrian who was walking against the flow of traffic in the middle of Philadelphia Road.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced deceased. She has been identified as Adrianne Bacardi Dietrich, 35, with an unknown last address. The Driver remained at the scene. Crash officers are continuing their investigation at this time.

On September 2, 2018 at 12:33 a.m., Baltimore County Police responded to a crash on Philadelphia Road and Hospital Drive, 21237. Police determined that a 2002 Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on Philadelphia Road and crossed the road collided a 2013 Isuzu cargo box truck traveling in the westbound lane. After the initial crash, a Ford Crown Victoria traveling eastbound on Philadelphia Road struck the Honda Civic, pushing the Civic into a parked Honda CRV.

The driver of the Honda Civic was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified as Jose Vicente Alvarenga Cruz, 54, of the 1200-block of Hanson Road, 21040. The driver of the Isuzu truck was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford was not injured. Crash Team officers are continuing their investigation at this time.

Baltimore County Police are continuing to investigate an overnight fatal crash on Philadelphia Road in the White Marsh Precinct this morning.

Around 2:18 a.m. a maroon Honda Accord traveling north on Philadelphia Road near Mayflower Road inexplicably veered across the oncoming traffic lane and struck a silver Mazda 6 that was stopped on the shoulder and the driver, who was standing outside of the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The pedestrian was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma where he was later pronounced deceased. He is identified as Christopher Allen Curtis (21) of the 8500 block of Upton Circle, 21237. The driver of the Honda was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Members of the Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team are continuing to determine what causative factors are involved in this fatal crash.
