UPDATE (August 8, 2019 3:18 a.m.):

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit have charged two suspects in the death of Glenroy St. Aubyn Copeland after his body was discovered in Patapsco State Park on June 16.

Renardo Giovanni Whitehead (19) of the 3900 block of Briarwood Drive in Laurel and Dion D'Angelo Boler (26) of the 5600 block of Harpers Farm Road in Columbia are both charged with first degree murder after the results of an autopsy yielded cause and manner of death to be homicide by multiple gunshot wounds. Both Whitehead and Boler are held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center following bail review hearings.

UPDATE (June 21, 2019 10:57 a.m.):

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has identified the body of a man found in Patapsco State Park Sunday night as Glenroy St. Aubyn Copeland (27) of the 7700 block of Alastor Court in Elkridge, Maryland.  

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is now investigating this death as a homicide.

Original Release (June 17, 2019 4:17 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police are investigating after the body of an adult man was found in Patapsco State Park last night.

A woman walking her dog along a trail in the park discovered the body around 5 p.m. last night near River and Thistle roads. The body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, as well as for identification purposes.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene and will be continuing the investigation into the man's death.

UPDATE (July 25, 2019 2:21 p.m.):

The body of a man discovered deceased in Patapsco State Park in mid-June has been identified as Glenroy Copeland (27) from Elkridge, Howard County.

The results of an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined cause and manner of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and homicide. The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit continue to actively investigate this case.

Police have confirmed the identity of a deceased man found along a walking trail in the Woodstock area of Patapsco Valley State Park last Thursday afternoon.

The man, identified as Darius Bernard Singleton (27) of the 3400 block of Courtleigh Drive, 21244, was found around 3:45 p.m. on April 25 when a couple walking along the trail came across the unconscious man. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body and police are now awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause and manner of Mr. Singleton's death.

The case continues to be investigated by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit. Anyone with information can contact detectives by calling 410-307-2020.
